Virtual ECA2030 – Electric, Connected and Automated Mobility for the 2030 customer
Join a vibrant discussion on the implementation of electric, connected, automated driving (ECAD) at the interface of the automotive and ECS sectors and get in contact with the right people to solve current and future implementation challenges.
Increasing levels of vehicle electrification and automation engender fundamental changes along the entire automotive value chain that require both a continuous prioritisation of technical research topics and extensive networking between a progressively diverse stakeholder group. Thus, the Mobility.E Lighthouse, a networking and collaboration platform of the ECSEL JU serves to connect stakeholders along and beyond the automotive value chain, bringing together the Electronic Components and Systems (ECS) and application side as well as non-technical experts to ensure European competitiveness for ECA mobility and to meet the demands of the 2030 customer.
The COSMOS project supports the Mobility.E Lighthouse with the continuous identification and prioritisation of technical and non-technical research topics within a strategy development process. Within a first step, research activities and strategies have been mapped to define the ECA mobility ecosystem and the corresponding R&D&I gaps have been analysed. Building upon these results, research priorities have been discussed and need to be further interactively validated and revised with experts of the field to finally derive an implementation plan, containing concrete actions to accelerate the implementation of ECA mobility solutions and to provide input to (updates of) European ECA strategies.
For this purpose, we invite all technical and non-technical ECA stakeholders to actively participate in the strategy development at the upcoming virtual ECA2030 event and to shape the implementation of ECA mobility with your expertise.
The conference aims at bringing together all stakeholders along the automotive value chain as well as non-technical stakeholders to initiate collaborations that can accelerate the introduction of vehicle electrification, connectivity, and automation (ECA). Active communication between the electronic components and systems (ECS) community and the application side of the value chain is essential and the objective of the Mobility.E Lighthouse of the ECSEL JU, an inter-project and stakeholder collaboration platform at the core of the event. The stakeholder exchange serves to prioritise research topics, to define concrete and joint R&D activities and to capture the requirements for future funding programmes as well as to foster coordination and harmonisation of the new partnerships within Horizon Europe.
Representatives of big industrial electronic circuit and system providers, RTOs, automotive OEMs as well as representatives of several industrial associations, other PPPs in the field of Mobility and other DGs of the European Commission, mainly DG RTD and DG MOVE, are invited to attend this event. Furthermore, the event will comprise an interactive session to derive and prioritise actions of the ECA implementation plan.
